What do I get?

Defence is committed to giving you the learning and development opportunities needed for you to thrive working with us. People learn differently and in Defence we ensure there is a range of learning and development available to you with a mix of topics and delivery to ensure there's accessibility and equality for all. This will be achieved through a blended approach using the 70:20:10 model. This model recommends that individuals gain 70% of their learning from job-related experiences, 20% from social interactions with others, and 10% from formal learning events. Far from being a rigid formula, the model is best used as a guideline when planning development needs. The Government Campus, Defence Academy and more are accessible to MOD employees.
