Access support when you relocate for work
Who is it for?
Civilian staff.
What do I get?
If you change your work location to another MOD or Government location within the UK, you may be entitled to assistance with extra costs incurred by the transfer, including:
Taxable Excess Fare Allowance if your new place of work is within reasonable travelling distance of your permanent home, but the journey is more expensive.
Temporary accommodation or travel package if your posting is temporary and your new place of work is not within reasonable travelling distance of your permanent home.
Move of Home assistance if your posting is permanent and not within reasonable travelling distance of your new home.
