What’s it for?

RRA(L)) is designed to counter reluctance to serve  at certain locations in  London.

These include the stress of commuting, the higher cost of food and beverages, the lack of Service sporting and recreation facilities, and the extra travelling to medical appointments you may face when working in the capital.

What do I get?

From 1 April 24 the allowance is a daily rate of £5.08 which is paid monthly via your pay.

How do I claim?

This will be processed automatically by your Unit HR/Personnel Office as part of the JPA ‘Arrivals Process’.
