What’s it for?
The Overseas Loan Service Allowance recognises the unique challenges you face when serving in a Loan Service appointment with a foreign military service.
What do I get?
The Overseas Loan Service Allowance is a daily rate which varies depending on the nature of your loan service post. The rates can be found in JSP 752 chapter 3. You will be paid monthly in arrears through your salary.
When can’t I use this?
If you are working remotely away from the Overseas Loan Service location then OLSA will cease.
How do I claim this?
This will be processed automatically by your Unit HR/Personnel Office.
