What’s it for?
Service in Northern Ireland comes with restrictions on freedom of movement and limited access to local amenities. Northern Ireland Residents’ Supplement makes up for the extra stress experienced by Service personnel who are assigned to Northern Ireland for extended periods of time.
What do I get?
From 1 April 23 the Northern Ireland Residents’ Supplement is a daily rate of £9.08 which you’ll receive via your pay.
How do I claim this?
This will be processed automatically by your Unit HR/Personnel Office as part of the JPA ‘Arrivals Process’.
