Campaign Continuity Allowance
If you are assigned to a specified campaign continuity post, you will receive this allowance
Eligibility check:
What’s it for?
Certain campaign continuity posts can result in a significantly increased burden being placed on personnel for operational tours that are longer than you would normally experience as part of your Service duties. These posts are necessary for preserving accumulated knowledge and developing long-term relationships.
If you require information on specific operational posts please get in touch with your Unit HR/Personnel Office.
What do I get?
CCA is paid as a daily rate of £60 per day. To claim it you must accumulate an initial 228 days of qualifying service in a designated campaign continuity post. You’ll be paid the daily CCA rate for each day that you continue to serve in the post after that.
When can’t I use this?
You won’t be able to claim this benefit if you receive an FCO or UN remuneration packages (e.g. Mission Support Allowance) or claim the Overseas Loan Service Allowance.
How do I claim this?
This will be processed automatically by your Unit HR/Personnel Office.
