What’s it for?
With the MOD’s accreditation opportunities, you can turn the in-service education, training and experience you receive in the Services into nationally recognised civilian qualifications.
Many courses delivered across Defence are accredited. While an increasing number of courses are accredited and free, some may require an additional charge. Your local education centre will be able to go through this with you.
What do I get?
Some examples of the types of qualification on offer include:
Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Management
Level 4 Diploma in Defence HR and Administration Management
Level 5 Award in Mentoring
Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering
Level 5 Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence in IT and Telecoms Professionals
Level 7 Diploma in Specialist Welfare Work
