Who is it for?
Civil Servants up to Band C2 (HEO) or University Graduates.
What do I get?
The Civil Service Fast Stream is the Civil Service's award-winning accelerated development scheme, developing talented, high-potential people to become future Civil Service leaders.
With a choice of 15 different schemes, there are opportunities for everyone. Several offer the opportunity to study for a professional qualification. Most provide a series of postings with different government departments, at rotating locations. Some provide a more immersive experience with greater flexibility about postings and rotations.
The Fast Stream is not only for recent graduates - Fast Streamers come from diverse backgrounds and the scheme offers opportunities for those seeking a career change, or wanting to develop in their Civil Service career, as well as those just starting out. Existing Civil Servants of grade HEO or below are welcome to apply for many schemes with or without a degree.
