Defence Discount Service

You can use the Defence Discount Service (DDS) to get great discounts on goods and services.

Who is it for?

All MOD Civilians (except contractors)

What do I get?

As the only official Ministry of Defence discount service for the UK’s Armed Forces, Veterans and wider Armed Forces Community, Defence Discount Service offers its members access to over 12,000 online and high street discounts from large national retailers and local businesses across the UK in categories such as holidays, cars, days out, fashion, gifts, insurance, phones and more.

The website is free to sign up to and use online offers, and Defence Discount Service also offers a Defence Privilege Card (costing just £4.99 and remaining valid for 5 years) that can be used to obtain discounts in participating high street shops, restaurants, cinemas and venues across the UK.

Members can also download the free Defence Discount Service app from the App Store or Google Play Store to get discounts on the go – allowing them to save while they shop wherever they are.
